‘I’M SPECIAL AND SO ARE YOU!’

Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten) & Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)

‘I’M SPECIAL AND SO ARE YOU!’    Realising the perfection and value of you!

YOU are unique and important and so too are all those who share in your day.

Together with Ozzie, Talk-About-Bear and Kanga the Roo, children explore their true worth,                    the value of kindness and caring for self, others and the world in which they live.

At the end of the performance children will have a greater awareness and understanding that:

  • I am special, unique, colourful and perfect for what I am here to grown and learn through.             As I am special, so too are my friends, family and all who share in my day.
  • Every day, I share and celebrate my special gifts and abilities (this most special part of me)           through what I think, feel do and say… just by simply being me!
  • I am my own best friend and offer myself positive encouragement and big hugs
  • I have wonderful support from those I trust, whom I call upon when needed
  • When I feel angry or upset I can take ‘time out’ and create peace
  • As I offer the gift of being kind and having good manners I express myself in loving ways

The songs and stories help and heal where needed most, encouraging children to be open in heart and mind; bringing about peace, harmony and joy to their day.

RESPONDING WITH ABILITY!

(Responsibility)

Stage 2 (Years 3&4) & Stage 3 (Years 5 & 6)

‘RESPONDING WITH ABILITY’   Awareness of personal power and value.

I and I alone am responsible for my thoughts, feelings, words and actions.

No matter what the day brings, I can let my light shine!

At the end of the performance children will have a greater awareness and understanding that:

  • I am all I need to be to bring peace, harmony and joy to my day.                                                 (Enjoying my day, it’s all up to me!)
  • I am my own best friend and can think my happy thoughts, give myself positive encouragement and a hug, and remind myself, when things get tough, that it’s just a moment in time.
  • I appreciate and celebrate the wonderful qualities that lie within just by simply being me – talents, abilities and gifts of the heart such as compassion, thoughtfulness, consideration, being responsible and respectful and having a good sense of fun.
  • Always there is ‘ability’ in ‘responsibility.’ I am able to offer my best at any given moment and my best varies as to how I am feeling at the time – happy/sad, angry/peaceful, tired/energetic
  • Having the skills and ability to focus, build self-confidence and release anger & negativity, (in positive and productive ways) I now move forward in life, open to whatever comes my way.
  • I have wonderful support from those I trust, whom I call upon when needed
  • As I fill my cup with kindness it can’t help but overflow, I am thoughtful, respectful and caring in both my words and actions first to myself, then to those who share in my day.

The songs and stories help and heal where needed most, encouraging children to be open in heart and mind; bringing about peace, harmony and joy to their day.
